Peter Argyle informed Members that he had recently attended the Aberdeenshire Council Design Awards and had copies of the associated brochures if anyone wished to view them. Andrew Rafferty raised concern about the design and finishing materials of a recently constructed dwelling at Breakachy, Laggan. 21. Mary Grier responded that as the application was located within a designated Fragile Countryside area, where development would be generally supported, it had been left with Highland Council to determine. However, the CNPA had submitted comments on the application to Highland Council regarding the design and materials proposed. 22. Dave Fallows advised Members that the application had been dealt with by Highland Council Planning Officials under delegated powers and therefore had not been presented to the Planning Committee. 23. This would enable Members to see how the developments featured in the landscape and how the materials translated from the plans. AGENDA ITEM 7: DATE OF NEXT MEETING 24.
